Cytec Announces Price Increases on Liquid Coating Resins the Americas
Woodland Park, NJ, November 25, 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) is increasing the prices of its entire range of CYMEL®, MELMAC®, BECKAMINE® and UFORMITE® aminoplast resins in the Americas.

The price increase is applicable for products shipped to the Americas on or after December 15, 2009, or as contracts allow. The cost increase is $0.09/lb for conventional resins and $0.07/lb for high-solids resins.

This pricing adjustment is necessary to offset the increase in raw material prices.
