Cytec Announces Price Increases on VIAPAL^® Liquid Coating Resins and Gelcoats in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Brussels, Belgium, 06 October 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing the prices of its entire range of VIAPAL^® Liquid Coating Resins and Gelcoats in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The price increase will be applicable for products shipped to Europe, the Middle East and Africa on or after November 1st, 2009, or as contracts allow. It will be up to EUR 0.09/kg depending on the grade.

This pricing adjustment is necessary to compensate for increasing raw material prices during Q3 2009.
