Cytec to Implement Price
Increase on Powder Coating Products in North America
Woodland Park, NJ – September 25, 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) announced today the implementation of a price
increase for all powder coating products including CRYLCOAT®;
ADDITOL® and MODAFLOW®. The price increase will be
applicable for products shipped in North America on or after
October 15 , 2009, or as contracts allow. The price increase
will vary from US$0.04 to 0.07/lb depending on the impact of
each specific raw material.
This adjustment is being implemented due to increased costs for
major raw materials used in the production of polyester powder
resins.
