Cytec to Implement Price Increase on Powder Coating Products for EMEA

Brussels, Belgium – September 15, 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today to its customers the implementation of a price increase for the powder coating product ranges CRYLCOAT^®, ADDITOL^® and SYNTHACRYL^®. This adjustment is being implemented due to increased costs for major raw materials used.

The price increase will be applicable for products shipped to Europe, the Middle East and Africa on or after October 15th, 2009, or as contracts allow. It will vary from EUR 0.10 to 0.15/kg depending on the product.
