Cytec Announces
Price Increase for Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers and Photo
initiators in Americas
Woodland Park, NJ – July 23, 2009 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT) today announces a price increase in the Americas on all
Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers and Photo initiators as well
as VANCRYLŽ Acrylic resins. The increase of $0.07 per pound will
be effective for shipments on or after September 1st, 2009, or
as contracts allow.
This price increase is necessitated by the continued escalation
in the cost of raw materials including, but not limited to,
acrylic acid, acrylic esters and polyols.
