Cytec to Present Low VOC Paint Solutions at Latin American Coatings Conference

Woodland Park, NJ – July 2, 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that it will present a paper entitled “Novel Low VOC Universal Pigment Grinding Resin for Both Waterborne & Solventborne Paints” at the Latin American Coatings Show on July 14, 2009.

Ming Tsang, group leader for Cytec Liquid Coating Resins technical service group, will present a new universal grinding medium for pigment paste concentrates used in decorative and light industrial coatings. This novel technology sustains the performance properties of the coatings, lowers systems costs and can be used in both point-of-sale and factory tinting machines. The presentation will take place from 3:00-4:00.
