Cytec Engineered Materials
Receives Gulfstream Supplier of the Year Award
Tempe, Ariz. – June 26, 2009 – Cytec Engineered Materials, a
business unit of Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), today
announced that it has received the 2008 Gulfstream Supplier of
the Year Award. Gulfstream issues these awards annually to
recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance.
Award selection is based on the Gulfstream supplier measurement
rating card, which tracks overall value, delivery, quality,
customer service and compliance for all Gulfstream suppliers. To
qualify for the award Cytec scored 100 percent in all card
categories throughout 2008. This year Gulfstream honored 59 of
its 350 suppliers with the award.

aerospace composite materials and services that deliver tangible
benefits and value,” said Bill Wood, Vice President- Commercial.

Cytec supplies a variety of products to Gulfstream including
carbon and glass prepregs, composite and metal bonding
adhesives, surfacing films, core fill materials and firewall
sealants. Gulfstream uses these products in the manufacture of
their G450, G550 and G650 business jets. Applications include
rear pressure bulkheads, wing to body fairings, access doors and
door flanges.
