Cytec to Present Whitepaper on New Advancements in Field Applied, UV Curable Concrete Coatings at the Coatings for Concrete Conference

Woodland Park, NJ – January 26, 2009 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that Jo Ann Arceneaux, Ph.D., Technical Manager of New Business Development-Radcure, will present a whitepaper on new advancements in field applied, UV curable concrete coatings on February 2 at the Coatings for Concrete Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

The whitepaper will report the findings of a study of three classes of oligomers which were evaluated for cure speed, adhesion, hardness, weatherability and cost in coatings for concrete.

The conference, sponsored by the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology, is being held in conjunction with the World of Concrete trade show.
