DURATOOL 450 tooling prepreg is the only proven high performance composite tooling system that can provide continuous service to 450ºF and short cycle service to 500ºF. DURATOOL 450 is a bismaleimide resin matrix supplied only on carbon fabrics.

DURATOOL 450 tooling prepreg permits high quality production tooling to be produced either directly from a high temperature master model or from a variety of intermediate materials. Initial cure is carried out at 350ºF followed by a free standing postcure at 440ºF.

DURATOOL 450 tooling prepreg is supplied in roll form. Standard roll sizes are 5 yds, 10 yds and 25 yds.; the width of all materials is 50". Materials are shipped frozen and in insulated boxes.
