A large team of Solvay and Cytec personnel has been mobilized since early October to prepare detailed integration plans. Solvay will create two new Global Business Units (GBU):

- a GBU will group Cytec's composite businesses Aerospace Materials and Industrial Materials. Bill Wood is appointed President of this GBU, which will form part of the Advanced Materials segment;

- a GBU will combine Cytec's In Process Separation, Polymer Additives and Formulated Resins activities with Solvay's phosphorus-based intermediates. Mike Radossich is appointed President of this GBU, which will form part of the Advanced Formulations segment.

William G. Wood

President, GBU

William Wood’s latest management responsibility was President, Cytec Aerospace Materials. Bill has 30 years’ experience in the advanced materials industry. He began his early career with ICI Fiberite, where he held various positions within engineering, manufacturing and plant management.

For the past seven years, he has been a member of Cytec’s Senior Management team, and has had general management assignments with four strategic business units. Most recently, he was the Business Vice President of Commercial, responsible for sales, technical service and program management.

Bill received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1984 from the University of Utah, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 1996.




Michael Radossich

President, GBU

Michael Radossich is a member of Cytec’s leadership team and his latest management function was President, Cytec Specialty Chemicals. Mike has more than 20 years’ experience in global commercial and business management roles.

In July 2011, he was appointed Cytec Vice President, Safety Health and Environment. He began his professional career at Cytec Industries Inc. in 1995. After serving in positions of progressive responsibility in engineering, manufacturing and sales, he was appointed Manufacturing Cluster Leader in 2010, with full oversight responsibility for four global manufacturing sites.

Mike earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
