Shane D. Fleming

Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Cytec Industries Inc.

Shane Fleming is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cytec Industries Inc. He previously served as President of Cytec Specialty Chemicals and was elected to Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team in September 2004.

Shane began his career in 1983 as a technical service engineer for American Cyanamid’s mineral processing chemicals business in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the next 10 years, he held assignments as a Sales Engineer and Regional Metallurgist and in sales management and leadership positions. With the formation of Cytec Industries in 1993, he was appointed General Manager of Cytec Australia to guide the start-up of this operation. In 1998, he was named Vice President Asia Pacific to lead Cytec’s rapidly expanding chemical operations in Asia and the South Pacific. He was assigned to lead the Phosphine & Phosphorus Specialties business in August 2000 and added responsibility for Mining Chemicals in 2002, while also serving as President, Cytec Canada, and President, Cytec Asia Pacific.

Shane holds a BS in fuels engineering from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.

Daniel G. Darazsdi

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Cytec Industries Inc.

Daniel Darazsdi is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cytec Industries Inc. He serves as a member of Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team, and is the company’s principal financial and accounting officer.

Throughout his career, Dan has held numerous senior financial positions. He joined Cytec in 2014 from Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC, where he was the company’s Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2014. Prior to this position, Dan worked at Honeywell International for 25 years in roles such as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Finance Transformation and Operations, Chief Financial Officer of the company’s global Specialty Materials business, Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for Asia Pacific, and many other leadership roles.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University and is a Certified Management Accountant.

William N. Avrin

Vice President, Corporate and Business Development, Cytec Industries Inc.

William N. Avrin is Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at Cytec Industries Inc. and is a member of Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team. He also leads the Industrial Materials business within Cytec.  Bill also leads the enterprise-wide business development center of competency.

As Vice President of Corporate & Business Development, Bill has been instrumental in designing Cytec's strategic planning process, and has been actively involved with the majority of the acquisitions and divestitures that Cytec has undertaken.

Bill began his career in 1977 with American Cyanamid Company in sales for Process Chemicals. He served in various marketing and business management positions with Process Chemicals, Paper Chemicals, and Polymer Additives until 1992, when he was named Vice President and General Manager of the Polymer Additives business. Bill assumed additional responsibility as Vice President and General Manager, Cytec – Latin America in 1994, and served in that capacity until 1997. He was then appointed Vice President and General Manager of the global Paper, Water Treating and Mining Chemicals businesses and concurrently served as President, Cytec – Asia Pacific. During this period, he was also appointed a director of Mitsui Cytec, Ltd., a joint venture with Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals in Japan.

Bill earned his B.A. degree in chemistry from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago.

Regina Charles

Vice President, Human Resources, Cytec Industries Inc.

Regina Charles is Vice President of Human Resources for Cytec Industries. Regina, who joined Cytec in 2008, is also a member of Cytec's Executive Leadership Team. In her role as head of Human Resources, Regina works with Cytec leadership and the global Human Resources community to accelerate Cytec's growth, to achieve strategic business objectives, to implement organizational effectiveness tools and processes and to address employee service needs.

Regina previously had senior Human Resources responsibilities at E.I. DuPont de Nemours Company, and was Chief Human Resources Officer for DuPont Electronic and Communication Technologies Platform. She had previously gained experience within DuPont as Director of Global People Managing Processes and as Director of Global Human Resources, DuPont Nylon. Regina also has had experience from 13 years of Human Resources leadership at Xerox Corporation in the areas of Compensation, Benefits, EEO & Diversity, Total Quality and Shared Services.

 Regina received a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hampton University and a Master's of Business Administration from Pace University.

William G. Wood

President, Cytec Aerospace Materials

William Wood is President of Aerospace Materials, a business unit of Cytec Industries Inc., and he also serves on Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team. Bill has 30 years’ experience in the advanced materials industry. He began his early career with ICI Fiberite, where he held various positions within engineering, manufacturing and plant management.

For the past seven years, Bill has been a member of the Senior Management team, and has had general management assignments with four strategic business units. Most recently, he was the Business Vice President of Commercial, responsible for sales, technical service and program management. Prior to this position, Bill led CEM’s European business unit as General Manager.

Bill received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1984 from the University of Utah, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 1996.

Michael Radossich

President, Cytec Specialty Chemicals

Michael Radossich is President of Cytec Specialty Chemicals and is a member of Cytec’s Executive Leadership Team. Michael has more than 20 years’ experience in global commercial and business management roles.

In July, 2011, Michael was appointed Vice President, Safety Health and Environment. He is responsible for leading Cytec’s SH&E organization to deliver strategic, well aligned enterprise-wide solutions and initiatives with an ultimate goal of achieving and maintaining world-class SH&E performance. He has responsibility for global safety standards, procedures, protocols and improvement plans working directly with our SH&E organization, manufacturing leadership and other stakeholders.

Michael began his professional career at Cytec Industries Inc. in 1995. After serving in positions of progressive responsibility in the engineering, manufacturing and sales organizations, he was appointed to the role of Business Manager for Coating Specialties in 2001. He became Manager for Corporate and Business Development in 2002 and served in that capacity until he was appointed global Business Director of Emulsion Polymers & Specialties in 2003. He served in that capacity, with increasing responsibilities, until he was named Vice President of Sales for Additives, Adhesives & Specialties in 2005. In 2006, he was named Vice President for the Technical Adhesives product line. In 2009, he was named Vice President for Global Engineering Operation and he remained in that role until 2010, when he has appointed Manufacturing Cluster Leader with full oversight responsibility for four global manufacturing sites.

Michael earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Roy Smith

Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, Cytec Industries Inc.

Roy Smith is Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Cytec Industries Inc. He is also a member of Cytec's Executive Leadership Team. Roy began his career at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, a New York City law firm, and joined American Cyanamid Company's legal department in 1992.

After the spin-off of Cytec in 1993 as a separate, independent company, he joined Cytec's legal department, where he was promoted to Senior Counsel in 1996, Assistant General Counsel in 1998, and Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in 2002.

Roy received his law degree from Columbia University, where he was a member of the Law Review, and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
