Job Description:
Cytec, a growing and well respected, global specialty chemicals and materials company, is looking for a Patent Attorney with 2 to 5 years experience. Initial responsibilities are primarily patent preparation and prosecution in the technical areas of polymer chemistry and organic chemistry for coating technology, polymer additives, phosphines and mining reagents. Lots of room for growth. Position reports to Senior Patent Attorney.

Required experience: Applicants should have drafted at least 20 US patent applications and have supervised prosecution of overseas applications. PTO registration required. Chemical or chemical engineering background or experience in the chemical arts area is needed. Experience with patent validity, infringement analysis and clearances, and counseling and opinion work are advantageous, but not required.
