Your main responsibilities will include:
• Working closely together with the European engineering departments to source a large portfolio of investments and MRO items at lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
• Development of regional and/or European buying programs, sourcing and negotiations with suppliers
• Implementation and monitoring of developed sourcing programs and handling supplier issues.
• Meet target savings in the most cost effective, timely and quality manner required to support business objectives as well as seeking cost savings initiatives and opportunities to create competitive advantage.
• You will assume the liaison between Procurement, engineering, maintenance and the production plants.
• You will report to the Manager MRO & Energy Procurement Europe based in Belgium.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree/Master degree (Industrial engineer).
• You have at least 4 years of experience in technical and/or commercial function in an international business environment.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French (any other European language is an asset)
• Proven experience in project management and negotiation.
• Interpersonal and managerial skills
• Team player as well as the ability to effectively lead teams
• You are results and business oriented in order to drive change and improvement.
