Cytec Announces Price Increase
for PTZ® Phenothiazine Products
West Paterson, NJ – September 3, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) today announces a global price increase of up to 35%
for PTZ phenothiazine. The increase will go into effect on
January 1, 2009 or as contracts allow. This adjustment is being
implemented due to increases in raw material, freight and other
manufacturing costs.
Cytec is a leading producer of phenothiazine, which is a
stabilizer, used in the production of acrylic acids, acrylic
esters, and methyl methacrylate monomer along with other
applications.
