Cytec to Promote its UV Curable Pressure Sensitive Adhesives at the PSTC Week of Learning.

Woodland Park, NJ – May 7, 2009 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) will promote its high performance Pressure Sensitive Adhesives at the PSTC Week of Learning Exhibitor Showcase in Orlando, Florida on May 14, 2009. The company will highlight the recently released GELVA^® GMR multipolymer radiation cured pressure sensitive adhesive. In addition, Dr. Victor Lu, will be presenting a paper entitled “Novel Polymer Design for Radiation Curable PSAs.”

“GELVA pressure sensitive adhesives have been used in a broad range of applications and markets for over 40 years,” said Alex Konya, Director of Marketing for PSA. “Cytec’s new UV curable adhesives will be a significant extension to our product line and allow customers to achieve even greater performance.
