Launch of New APE Free Surfactant
Woodland Park, NJ – March 26, 2009 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) announced today the launch of a new APE free product
for use in emulsion polymerization, AEROSOLŪ EF-810 surfactant.
The product is designed for use as a primary emulsifier for
acrylic, vinyl-acrylic, styrene- acrylic and styrene-butadiene
latex systems. This water soluble, versatile and highly
effective surfactant yields high performance latex systems for
use in adhesives and sealants, paint, textile and non-woven
binders, paper, building and construction coatings.
Cytec is a leading producer of sulfosuccinate surfactants which
are used in the emulsion polymer, paints, inks, adhesives and
specialty chemical markets.
