Cytec Features New Products at
Radtech Expo 2009
Woodland Park, NJ, March 2nd, 2009 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) announces that they will participate at Radtech Expo
2009, to be held at Dongguan International Exhibition Centre,
Guangdong, China from March 31st to April 2nd , 2009. Cytec will
be located at booth no. 063 Hall DE.
The RADCURE™ UV/EB (Ultra-violet/Electron beam) curable resins
and additives product line from Cytec’s Surface Specialties
business unit that serves the Coatings and Inks market will
feature the following latest products at Radtech Expo:
New KRM 8296 undiluted aliphatic urethane triacrylate oligomer
is developed for energy curable systems. This is an innovative
performer in formulations for haptic coatings (soft touch).
New EBECRYL® 8501 curable resin is the primary resin for the
formulation of UVA (Ultra Violet Spectrum-A) curable automotive
refinish body putties. It is characterized by excellent pigment
wetting with good flexibility and contributes towards
performance characteristics that are equivalent or betterthan
that of a conventional 2K body putty system.
New UCECOAT® 7705 is a high performance aliphatic urethane
acrylate dispersion in water (UVPUD) for high gloss clear top
coats. It provides outstanding flow, good reflection
(distinctness of image) and ease of formulation. This high gloss
resin enables waterborne UV coatings to be used on applications
that demand both high and low gloss coatings.
KRM 8452 decafunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate resin is for
extremely hard top coats. Its high reactivity and hardness
enables coatings with high scratch and abrasion resistance.
EBECRYL® 8254 hexafunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate resin
is for high solid top coats. Its low viscosity and low shrinkage
combined with high reactivity and flexibility allows formulators
to develop coatings with high solids and good impact resistance.
