Cytec is elected Vice Director of Radtech China

Woodland Park, NJ, February, 19, 2009 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announces that Cytec has been elected as a Vice Director to the Board Membership of Radtech China.

This is the first time that a foreign investment company has been elected to assume this role which holds strategic responsibilities for key events organization, application promotion, setting UV/EB (Ultra-violet/Electron Beam) curing industry standards in China including exchange programs within the Radtech organizations and other industrial organisations worldwide.

Siva Iyer, Business Director of RADCURE, Asia Pacific, Cytec, said, “We are very pleased with this election which underlines Cytec’s ongoing commitment to support, strengthen and contribute innovative and environmentally responsible developments within the UV/EB curing industry.”
