Alkyd and Polyester Resins
- RESYDROL® waterborne alkyd emulsions illustrate Cytec’s pioneering vision of environmentally friendly coatings. They enable formulators to achieve high performance coatings used in Decorative, Industrial and Automotive OEM applications.
- DUROFTAL® polyester resins are used in BADGE-free packaging coatings and coil coatings. In combination with Macrynal® acrylic resins, higher solid industrial topcoats can be obtained by addition of DUROFTAL® VPI 2801/78BAC or DUROFTAL® VPI 2803/78BAC for 2K systems.
- VIALKYD® range of solvent based alkyds and oil free polyesters is used in various decorative and industrial applications, and includes high solid as well as odorless grades compliant to upcoming regulations.
